Through a post-apocalyptic lens, I examine the environmental unbalance fueled by decades of technological advancement. I shift transparent neon plastics and metals the Earth can no longer take back to form everlasting environments. I meld plasma cut steel and weave nested structures of wires, chains, and collected scraps as examinations of a larger landscape for creatures and minds to inhabit. I grasp the fragility of nature and strengthen it, carving organic forms from modern materials to offer haven and express energy of a world we may no longer experience. Rippling light features and neon plastics elicit the sensation of water and the flow of magma and radiate the lurking danger of our modern human interference over nature.

Unwavering hope is explored through imagined scientific advancements while depicting the armoring of nature against our constant waste and further destruction. Through my works I navigate balancing the enjoyment of our modern advances and reviving the precariousness of our environment. Within a carefully crafted autonomously hopeful future, our fight to preserve and survive continues as I expose people to the reality of our world’s current state but allow for wonder in the glow of what the future might hold.
